AIMS Mohali inaugurated “CHIRAG” (Child Health Intervention, Research and Adoption Guidance Clinic)

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences inaugurated “CHIRAG” (Child Health Intervention, Research and Adoption Guidance Clinic) on the occasion of World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse 19th November 2022.
The clinic will run jointly by Department of Paediatrics and Psychiatry on every Tuesday at AIMS Mohali on appointment basis and will cater to psychological and behavioural issues of vulnerable children; will provide a referral point for physical problems; will fill the information gap on adoption relation issues and endeavour to build evidence base in form of research in this area.
Madam Madhavi Kataria, IAS, Director Social Security, Women and Child Development, Prof ON Bhakoo, Former Head, Department of Paediatrics, PGIMER, Chandigarh and Ms Shelly Mittal, PM SARA were guests of honour for the event.
